The Challenge
Eeger attends a large number of trade shows, conferences, and industry conventions each year—often in different cities and venues across Australia.
Like many exhibitors, Eeger relied on touch screen hire at each event to display digital content. While this seemed convenient on the surface, it created several ongoing problems:

Inconsistent hardware at every location

Different screen sizes, brightness levels, and mounting systems

High and recurring hire costs

Significant time spent coordinating suppliers at every event

No guarantee of reliability or availability on bump-in day
Most importantly, the hired screens never provide a consistent part of Eeger’s brand presence.
Eeger needed a solution that would:

Working closely with Eeger, we defined a clear set of requirements:

The Solution
We delivered a custom-built portable touchscreen kiosk system designed specifically for trade shows and conferences.
The solution included:

A high-performance 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen
-
Powerful octa-core processing, ample memory, and fast storage
-
Smooth 10-point capacitive touch for public interaction
-
Integrated Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
-
Enterprise-grade kiosk management compatibility
Rather than relying on venue internet, we integrated a UniFi UMR Ultra 4G router, giving Eeger a fully self-contained connectivity solution that works anywhere there is mobile coverage.
Built for Travel
A key requirement was portability.
The complete unit:

Packs down into a Pelican flight case

Uses custom foam inserts to protect all components
-
Weighs approximately 25 kg
-
Falls well within airline checked baggage limits
-
Can be transported by staff without freight or couriers
On site, the fully branded stand can be assembled using just four bolts, allowing rapid bump-in and bump-out.
Secure, Branded, and Reliable
To ensure proper content control the Kiosks were configured with:

Professional kiosk software locks the screen to approved content
-
Users cannot access system settings or the operating system
-
Custom attract screens display branded content when idle
-
After each session, the screen automatically clears its cache, ensuring no user data is retained
Remote support software is installed on every unit, allowing issues to be diagnosed and resolved remotely whenever the device is connected to the internet.
